Scout Camp 2018

We stayed at camp Mosiah, like last year. 8 boys, 3 adults: Jeff Smith, David Hadley, myself, Cameron, Jack Smith, Jonathan, Memo, Ben Moa, Ben Smith, Benjamin Adams, Aron Leal. Boys set up their tents in back away from adults (nice!).

Great group of boys.  They all got along really well and hung out together as much as they could.

Canoe trip across Lake Sterling. I was in a canoe with Ben Moa and Jack Smith. Aron lead the campfire program.
Cameron lead campfire program at our campsite after dessert time on Thursday night. He got a little overwhelmed at one point with all of the extra work he needed to do for merit badges, but I talked to him about setting priorities, making schedules, and working one step at a time.
Ben Moa was our senior patrol leader and did a decent job in reporting to us what was discussed during his lunch time meetings.
Memo was deathly afraid of spiders.  Thursday I was up until 12:30 am helping to calm down Memo after he saw a daddy-long-legs spider in his tent.

Boys did excellent with Cope. They worked well together and did not argue. They got shave ice afterwards.
