It was an exciting night for Pixar at the Oscars as WALL-E won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature! Haylee and I went to Pixar to watch the Oscars in HD on the big screen (Haylee did very well for having to sit through a 3 1/2 hour show; she made a point to tell me everytime she heard or saw a reference to WALL-E or Kung-fu Panda).
It was also great that the Academy mentioned Ed Catmull, the president of Pixar, as having received the Gordon E. Sawyer Oscar, which is a science-technology oscar that was awarded to him on a separate night, for his technological contributions to the animation industry.
It was wonderful to applaud these achievements with fellow co-workers.
