It's a Boy!

At 10:33 am on Saturday, April 11, Landon Keith Crow, arrived to our family. We were pleased to finally find out his gender (Daddy and Haylee guessed wrong...). After arriving at the hospital at 8 pm the night before and enduring a longer-than-expected labor (Landon was just too comfortable in there), our 7 lb. 15 oz., 20" blonde, blue-eyed blessing came to us.

The greatest moment during the birth? When I finally saw first the head, then the arms, body and legs of Landon come out of his Mommy. Even on the third child, that moment where I saw the full form of my little baby for the first time made me squeal like a little kid. I couldn't wait to hold him.

The greatest moment of the whole weekend? Seeing how excited Haylee and Cameron were when Eve and Landon came home from the hospital earlier this evening. They were so glad to have their Mommy back and could not possibly be any more excited to hold their baby brother. That will be the new cherished privelege for them over the next while (that, as parents, we can of course discretionally use to our advantage...).

What a wonderful gift to our family on this Easter weekend. Haylee and Cameron will have to wait until tomorrow to have their Easter egg hunt. Oh well, they're not too disappointed. Here's a link to more baby picture goodness:
